A clicker / idle game. I did a lot of research in order to analyze and understand what makes an idle game, why are they appealing, and how the team I was working with can make innovations on a known formula.

This project included a lot of “behind the scenes” game design: creating and balancing an exponentially growing in-game economy made up of different resources and systems.

Some of the systems I designed for Hopeless Heroes: A multiplayer system with a cooperative mini-game and rewards, a skill tree for a more personalized gameplay experience, an “arena” where players can compete for a high score, a loot system with several item types, and more.
